The Story

**📅Date**: October 22nd **⏱️Time**: 5pm-7pm **📍Place**:Guffo Cafe (161 Robson St, Vancouve) 🌸**Topic today**: will be announced on IG on Wednesday→ [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/wasabi_meetup/) At WASABI, we create a friendly and supportive space where everyone helps each other🤝. **🧑‍🤝‍🧑Making friends** Learning a new language can be scary😌 — but you don’t have to do it alone. People in your table will help you learn as you enjoy making friends🤗✨. **📙Learning support** The organizer has over 10 years of experience teaching Japanese and visits each table for answering your questions. **🪑Seat change, the right level** Based on your Japanese level, seat change occurs before the Japanese hour, so you'll be less likely to fall behind everyone. **🗣️💬Not just free talk, new topic each event** Each table gets a **Worksheet** filled with new vocabulary, phrases, and grammar, so you will not end up just having another free talk 🗣️💬✨ The topic differs each time and the organizer has so far made 370+ worksheets. **🌞Overall** This event is perfect if you want to make friends as you learn something new ! 🫶Most of our participants are beginners, so don’t worry — we’ve all been there! 👉 Watch this short video to see the atmosphere: **[https://www.instagram.com/reel/DP5fUZAjr4u/](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DP5fUZAjr4u/)** **🇨🇦🇯🇵Event Flow** 5:00pm–6:00pm — English time with worksheet 6:00pm–7:00pm — Japanese time with worksheet You don’t have to be on time — feel free to join late! 💰**Participation Fee** 5 per person (will be 10 in the future because the host has to make 2 worksheets) Please bring cash on the day of the event. ▶Follow WASABI's IG in order not to miss pop-up discounts (Notebook Day) **[@wasabi_meetup](https://www.instagram.com/wasabi_meetup/)** **☕Important** Please order at least one item at the café.
