Coffee, Cake & the Occult: Come Pull Up a Chair Ever wished you had someone to talk to about that strange book you’ve been reading, the rabbit hole you’ve fallen into, or the question you can’t stop thinking about? Come join us for the first Coffee, Cake & the Occult gathering. We’ll meet at a local Austin spot, grab something to drink (and hopefully something sweet), and get to know one another. From there, the conversation is up to the people around the table. You might find yourself talking about mythology, magic, tarot, Hermeticism, ghosts, Gnosticism, Kabbalah, alchemy, dreams, symbolism—or something none of us expected. No presentation. No assigned topic. Just interesting people and interesting conversation. Whether you’ve been exploring these subjects for years or are simply curious about what all the fuss is about, you’re welcome. Come alone or bring a friend. Come with a question or come with an open mind. Pull up a chair. Let’s see where the conversation goes.
