Build with OpenAI Codex

The Story

October's build is OpenAI's Codex, one of the leading AI coding agents. If you've heard people talk about AI writing code for them and wondered what that actually looks like in practice, this is your chance to try it yourself. No coding experience or background needed, just you and your laptop. We'll give you a sample project and 90 minutes of hands-on time to see how Codex works, what it gets right, where it needs steering, and what it's actually like to work alongside an AI agent rather than just chat with one. What you'll get from this session: * A proper hands-on go with one of the most talked-about AI tools around * A real feel for what these agents can (and can't) do, beyond the headlines * A sample project to build, so you leave with something you actually made * A relaxed space to try something new without it eating into your day job * Plenty of chat with others who are just as curious about where this is all heading Note me down \*\* - Please bring a laptop, you will need it to get the most out of the session!
