Harriman: Lake Skannatati - Hogencamp Mountain Loop - 6+ Miles

The Story

Over the hills and through the woods to Harriman Park we go. An easy-to-moderate hike that takes us through several old mines, "Times Square" trail junction, Hogenkamp Mountain, numerous rock formations including Bald Rocks for a total of 6+ miles and an elevation gain of 800 feet. A "fan favorite". Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter).
