**Event 4: Beyond Chat: Building Your First AI Agent** The next stage of AI adoption goes beyond asking questions and generating content. AI agents can be designed to follow instructions, use information, complete multi-step tasks, and assist with specific business processes. In this session, we’ll break down what an AI agent actually is and how agents differ from the AI chat tools most people are already familiar with. We’ll walk through the basic process of designing, building, testing, and improving an agent using accessible AI tools. We’ll also discuss how to identify good opportunities for agents inside a business and how to start small before moving into more complex automation. No programming background is required. The goal is to give participants a practical understanding of agents and a framework they can use to begin experimenting within their own organizations.
