The Story

September is a special month for Berlin. [AWS Community Day DACH](https://www.aws-community-day.de/) is coming to Berlin, and we are thrilled to be hosted by [Zalando](https://corporate.zalando.com) this month to welcome our regular members, as well as AWS Community from all over Europe! We have one very interesting talk for the evening and we dedicate the rest to network and get to know each other. Bring your AWS related questions, ideas and excitement along. This will be a joyful evening! =================================================== 18:15 - Warming up and networking chat 18:30 - Intro by AWS UG Berlin & Zalando 18:45 - 19:10 - **Ali Yigit Ogun // A New Era of SRE: Why Kiro and DevOps Agent Don’t Care About Your "Bad Smells"** In this session we explore how tools like AWS DevOps Agent and Kiro are reshaping what SRE work even means: from hunting "bad smells" by hand to AI agents that map dependencies, correlate signals, and pinpoint root causes on their own. We'll unpack what spec-driven development means for reliability work and, more importantly, how SRE engineers stay valuable when the machines get very good at the on-call job. Ali is Cloud Engineer at Hyland, where he builds and automates scalable AWS infrastructure for enterprise-grade platforms. He's five-time AWS Community Builder.
