Not just recipes, but understanding the computational model of senders. C++26 adds senders to `std::execution`: a major feature that gives us tools for defining and composing asynchronous work. This talk will look at parts of `std::execution` and explain how they work, and how they map on to computational ideas. We will deconstruct the ideas of execution; see how the familiar synchronous model fits in; see how the asynchronous model generalizes it; and get an understanding of how to build back up into anything we need. We'll cover all the major new parts of `std::execution`, and see the designs behind what ships in C++26 and where they might be fleshed out in future. C++ has long been considered a low-level language in the sense of "close to the hardware".
