The Story

Come spend a summer evening laughing under the trees with great company! A true Portland summer classic! Join us at Laurelhurst Park for Kickstand Comedy in the Park for a night of stand-up comedy, picnic food, and easy conversation. Personally, I’ll be arriving early around 3:00 PM to claim some spot with blankets and enjoy the sunshine in the park before the show. If you’d like to join me for a relaxing afternoon in the park, you’re more than welcome! Bring a book, a game, knitting, cards, or simply enjoy chatting while we wait for the crowd to arrive. Our official Meetup begins at 5:45 PM, giving everyone plenty of time to find us, say hello, and get settled before the show begins. Schedule 🧺 3:00 PM – Early arrivals welcome! I’ll be claiming our space and hanging out in the park. Come hang out and socialize. 👋 5:45 PM – Official Meetup start. Come meet the group, enjoy your picnic dinner, and get settled. 🎤 6:30 PM – Comedy begins! What to Bring * Blanket or low camp chair (please be mindful not to block the view of others!) * Picnic dinner or snacks * Drinks * Sunscreen and/or a light jacket * Your sense of humor 😄 I’ll post our exact location in the event comments once we’ve claimed our spot so everyone can find us easily.
