Do you keep having the same argument with your partner—even though you genuinely want things to improve? Perhaps conversations quickly become defensive. You shut down, try to fix the problem or say something you later regret. Maybe the emotional or physical intimacy has faded, and you’re unsure how to rebuild the connection. This practical, educational workshop is designed for men who want to understand what is creating distance in their relationship—and learn how to respond differently. In this session, you’ll learn: * Why good intentions and relationship advice often disappear in the heat of the moment * How subconscious patterns influence the way you react to criticism, conflict and rejection * The hidden sequence that turns an everyday trigger into defensiveness, withdrawal or another argument * How these reactions can gradually affect trust, connection and intimacy * A practical process for interrupting the pattern and creating a healthier response * You’ll also privately map one of your own recurring relationship patterns using a simple framework: **Trigger → Internal Thought → Feeling → Behaviour and Impact** Then you’ll design a different response you can begin practising in your relationship. This is an educational workshop—not group therapy or a traditional support group. You won’t be pressured to share personal details about your relationship. The focus is on learning useful relationship skills and applying them privately to your own circumstances. **Please bring a pen and paper.** This is an interactive session, and you’ll leave with a written map of one of your current patterns and a practical response to work on. This workshop is for men who: * Feel a growing distance in their marriage or relationship * Keep getting pulled into the same arguments * Struggle with defensiveness, frustration or shutting down * Want to rebuild trust, connection or intimacy * Know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to begin You cannot control your par
