Vinai
\*\*\*PLEASE READ\*\*\* With such a quick ramp up of attendees, the number of persons quickly outstripped our reservations. Although its a wonderful problem for Brenda and I to have, we nonetheless have to reschedule. Even at that, we can only make reservations for 12 on August 25. We reserved two tables of six, one at 7:45 and one at 8:00 pm. As we get closer to the date, Brenda and I will let you know which time will be your reservation time. Thanks so much for understanding and hope you can still attend. \*\*\*PLEASE READ\*\*\* **Sharing an event from our sibling group,** [Asian American / AAPI Meals Together](https://www.meetup.com/asian-american-aapi-meals-together/) **Please RSVP to their event:** [here](https://www.meetup.com/asian-american-aapi-meals-together/events/315479880/?eventOrigin=group_upcoming_events) Join us at Vinai, a 2025 James Beard Semi-Finalist. The description from the restaurant's webpage states: "Vinai the restaurant (pronounced VEE-nye) is named after the Ban Vinai Refugee Camp in Thailand— the place where Yia’s parents met and the place he was born. Ban Vinai, the refugee camp, served as a place of safety, reunification, and restoration. Vinai, the restaurant, serves as a love letter from Yia to his parents. It serves as an homage to Hmong culture and history. And it serves as a place of restoration, a place where we invite you to celebrate, honor, and illuminate stories of your own through the universal language of food." [Vinai](https://www.vinaimn.com/)
