Milly's Wine bar and Mill District excursion

The Story

I have reserved Milly's heated patio for our exclusive use. The patio is covered and heated and "quite comfortable" (Milly's description). Currently my favorite wine bar in Mpls. Unlike some wine bars that go for snooty, Miily's somm does fun things like pairing French Burgundy with California Pinot and then you play guess the wine. No prizes, other than bragging rights, but fun. Good apps too. Milly's is located in the Mill District which means if you want to make a night of it (it is a Friday after all, I'll be out, and I hate drinking alone), we have some options like XYZ, Klassic Kitchen (Gary's never been, but sounds cool), Day Block, and Crooked Pint. Several parking garages nearby. I've had pretty good luck street parking too.
