On the Personal Unconscious

The Story

Find my work on Linktree: https://linktr.ee/cgjunghelpdesk "Pierce the veil of that sickly illusion and you step out of your narrow, stuffy personal corner into the wide realm of the collective psyche, into the healthy and natural matrix of the human mind, into the very primordial images from which the life-giving germs of the future have at all times sprung." - C.G. Jung Psychic life starts with ourselves. But Jung saw much more in the psyche, of which we can perceive nothing until we have integrated from the unconscious which is us so that what is left is the world and everything in it. Jung transcended Freud by thinking further than the personal unconscious, and we can only perceive the world when we stop perceiving ourselves. This event will consist of two parts: 1\. A presentation part by me \(ca\. 45 minutes\)\, where elaborate on Jung’s ideas about the topic for the event using quotes from his whole body of work 2\. A discussion part about the just presented topic\, Jungian ideas or anything interesting that might come up Join us to find out more See you there This event’s beautiful picture was provided by https://unsplash.com/de/@azlyn
