Stay for the people. For our first edition on October 20th: Sesbian Lex, a playful, shame-free workshop on sapphic sex, pleasure & intimacy with Andrea Riosexo. Workshop begins at 19:30. Something Sapphic is a new monthly gathering for Madrid’s sapphic community at Maniquí. It’s not quite a workshop series, and it’s not just another meetup. Each month, we’ll start with something to do, learn, make, talk about or explore together: connection, creativity, relationships, queer culture, sex, art, movement, or whatever else our community wants to get curious about. The idea is simple: give us something to connect over, take some of the awkwardness out of walking into a room of strangers, and create space for new friendships and community. This is not a dating event. **7:00–9 PM \| Something Sapphic** **SesbianLex with Andrea Riosexo and Caro:** For sapphic women, trans and nonbinary people, and anyone who feels at home under the sapphic umbrella. Come alone, bring a friend, come very queer, come questioning. There’s no one way to belong here. Growing up in a patriarchal world leaves us with beliefs and scripts that shape how we experience desire, pleasure, and relationships—even within queer spaces. This meetup is an invitation to unpack what we’ve learned, share experiences, and swap practical tips for exploring sapphic sexuality and eroticism with more freedom, confidence, and joy. Expect laughter, fresh perspectives, and conversations that spark connection.
