The Story

Note: There is a **$5** - **10** **suggested donation** to help cover venue rental. Let's practice active listening. Talking to an active listener makes it a lot easier to talk about yourself. So the sneaky second goal is to practice talking about yourself. Active Listening shows your conversation partner that you're with them. This makes talking to you more natural and enjoyable. We will review some common things people might do in order to try to connect that unfortunately have the opposite effect. The majority of the event will be spent practicing specific active listening skills in short conversations.
