The Inside Track: Hollywood for Writers & Creators

The Story

Have a script, pilot, docuseries idea, or reality format, and no idea what to do with it? This class is for you. In 90 minutes, you'll learn how projects actually move through Hollywood, from the people inside the room: • Who the buyers are, and who can really say yes • What makes a project sellable • How packaging works and why it matters • Agents, managers, and producers: what they do and how writers actually get repped • What really happens in a pitch meeting • The top reasons projects get passed on We'll also run a live logline lab. Drop yours in the chat, and I'll give real time feedback on a few of them. We'll finish with open Q&A. About Me: I'm Stephanie Reibel, a former actress (Two and a Half Men, Monk, 90210, to name a few) turned development executive and producer. I led talent development and casting for top production companies, have pitched every major network and streamer, and created and executive produced a docuseries I sold to HBO. What to bring: your project idea or logline, your questions, and something to take notes with. Spots are limited so everyone gets a chance to participate!
